For Ocean Community, innovation is more than a buzzword; it’s the driving force behind sustainable and regenerative transformation of the blue economy.
By connecting diverse ideas, fostering collaboration, and supporting impactful solutions, creating a sustainable ocean economy that benefits all.
OC Innovate Program is designed to foster groundbreaking ideas, connect aspiring innovators, and empower them to turn vision into reality, addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
We need more concepts and prototypes to transform into investable solutions and impact. We are building that pipe-line. Join us on this journey to reshape the future of our oceans - one innovative solution at a time.
THE INNOVATION PROCESS
An innovation journey often begins with engaged scientists and early innovators in university programs, where students, researchers, and budding entrepreneurs explore opportunities in ocean sustainability.
From these foundational steps, and alongside the innovation process, we have created Ocean Community Innovate - our our Innovation Program.
We invite innovators, entrepreneurs, founders and early startups - with concepts or early prototypes - to join our OC Challenge. This open innovation challenge provides a collaborative journey to develop and refine solutions based on expert guidance and support, and finally, for the awarded finalists, have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the OC Accelerator.
Awarded teams are invited to join the Award Accelerator, where we offer structured mentorship, advanced resources, and practical support to pave the path to further acceleration and market. Through this streamlined approach, OC Innovate supports development from concept to commercial viability, helping innovators build resilient, ocean-focused ventures.
