What You’ll Do

  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, WeDontHaveTime) to build our online presence.

  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO, email marketing, and analytics tools to optimize audience engagement.

  • Write compelling articles, newsletters, and blog posts highlighting ocean innovation, community projects, and the blue economy.

As a Website Developer intern in our IT Department, you’ll play a key role in improving the digital infrastructure that supports our global ocean innovation ecosystem.

  • Develop Core Web Development Skills
    Work directly on our website (WordPress and/or WIX), enhancing functionality, improving user experience, and integrating new tools to better serve our community.

  • Gain Real-World IT Experience
    Contribute to workflow automation, system performance enhancements, and database management—building technical skills in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

    Support the automation of the Ocean Community Challenge processes, including team onboarding, assessment, and selection for our Award Accelerator program.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage, update, and optimize our website to improve engagement and user experience

  • Enhance and maintain data storage systems for members and partners, ensuring proper structure and security

  • Collaborate on web design improvements, UX optimization, and integration of new platform features

  • Assist in automating workflows related to innovation challenges and program participation

  • Integrate digital tools and systems to improve operational efficiency and user engagement

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support testing and implementation of platform updates

What You´ll Do

As an OC Learn Program Intern, you'll support the development, coordination, and promotion of three of our key educational initiatives:

  • OC University Program – University-level courses, mentorship, and innovation challenges

  • OC Academy – A deep-learning experience powered by AI, launching in 2025

  • "Why Care" Online Learning Series – Open-access, thematic micro-courses to expand ocean literacy

  • Support the planning and scheduling of learning activities and events such as webinars, Innothons, and Hackathons

  • Help organize and maintain digital course content on platforms like WIX and SanaLabs

  • Coordinate with Ocean Ambassadors, mentors, and university partners

  • Conduct research on ocean innovation topics and contribute to course content and quiz development

  • Assist in preparing communication materials and social media content for OC Learn programs

  • Track learner engagement and outcomes, and support the creation of impact reports

  • Develop Essential Project Management Skills: From planning to execution, you’ll gain hands-on experience in managing projects, navigating challenges, and driving results in a global, mission-driven environment.

  • Make a Real Impact: Contribute directly to initiatives that create tangible, long-lasting impacts on ocean conservation, while advancing your career in project management and sustainability.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of innovation projects that address ocean challenges and foster a sustainable blue economy.

  • Contribute to external communication and social media management.

  • Work closely with early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs, supporting them in business development, strategy, and implementation.

  • Participate in organizing online and in-person events and meetings, helping to connect a global network of ocean enthusiasts and change-makers.

  • Drive Business Impact: Assist in creating frameworks for partnership engagement, onboarding, and retention that foster sustainable growth and collaboration.

  • Gain Hands-on Experience: Learn how to design effective partnership models and communication strategies, while actively participating in the partnership lifecycle from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and develop value propositions for each partnership category, ensuring a clear understanding of mutual benefits.

  • Assist in creating structured processes for recruiting, onboarding, and retaining partners within the Ocean Community ecosystem.

  • Help develop and refine partner engagement strategies, including communication plans and performance measurement frameworks.

  • Support the drafting of partnership agreements, including identifying key compliance measures and expectations for all parties involved.

  • Collaborate with the digital team to support the integration of partnership management tools and tracking systems

  • Assist with ongoing partner communications, including organizing meetings and preparing reports on partnership performance.
