Based in the United Kingdom, this technolgoy-based start-up is developing Society’s Operating System, a digital platform designed to help communities identify challenges, propose solutions, and manage projects from start to finish. By connecting residents, local businesses, and authorities, Trigan facilitates community-driven improvements through structured decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and coordinated action.

Marine governance is deeply fragmented and often ineffective. Governments, scientists, industries, and coastal communities frequently work in isolation, resulting in poor communication, misallocated resources, and policies that rarely translate into effective on-the-ground action. As a result, marine conservation efforts suffer from high failure rates, and the communities most affected are often left out of the decision-making process entirely.

This is where Trigan steps in. Their platform creates digital twins of coastal communities, integrating real-time data on people, marine ecosystems, and infrastructure. At the heart of the system is a geo-anchored operating model that connects local input with decision-making, resource allocation, and on-the-ground implementation, all in one place.

Trigan’s technology combines community-driven insights with an AI-powered consensus engine that helps identify the most promising actions while preserving human decision-making.
