OCC Finalist Spotlight – Meet WeavAir!

We are excited to introduce one of the finalists of the 2025 Ocean Community Challenge:

WeavAir! 

Coming from Warsaw, Poland, this innovative startup is developing an integrated hardware

and software solution for port management systems. The AI-powered platform will be able to assist with optimising operations, reducing environmental impact, and improving profitability by providing advanced monitoring, diagnostics, and decision-support capabilities. 🚢🌍🏗️

WeaveAir’s multi-sensory capabilities are summed up in WeavDetect, a data collection of different IoT - sensors that track over 20 key indicators, like GHG emissions, flow rates, vibration, noise, temperature, etc.

The collected data is fed into WeavPredict, a real-time digital twin and AI engine that creates a virtual replica of the asset/system. The digital twin makes it easy to detect anomalies (faults, inefficiencies, failures) and can predict potential risks (energy wastage, water leakage, emissions spikes, maintenance needs). It also calculates optimised energy and water usage scenarios, supports climate adaptation & resilience planning, and models carbon reduction and circular economy impacts.

With WeavConnect, the integrated decision support & reporting platform converts technical data into actionable insights for operators, engineers, sustainability managers, and executives. It supports real-time dashboards, alerts, and recommendations and automates ESG reporting, sustainability certifications, and regulatory compliance. The platform can integrate with existing building management systems (BMS), ERP, and enterprise sustainability platforms.

WeavAir claims that the AI models have been trained on 10+ years of real operational data across multiple sectors, ensuring high accuracy and reliability. Thus, the model achieves 95 %+ accuracy without recalibration while also being 200 times faster in diagnosis than any traditional method.
