Alongside its beauty, our ocean faces many challenges. From overfishing to pollution, threatening the marine life and the ecosystem worldwide. It is not a one person's job; it's a challenge for a wider community. That is why we have established the Ocean Ambassador Program, to broaden our voice and reach more people to be part of the solution. The program is designed for university students who are passionate about making a positive impact on our blue planet. Together we connect, learn, and take action.

Leading this initiative fills me with inspiration as I meet students with passion for the ocean. It gives me a completely new understanding of the opportunities the ocean brings to businesses and our society, together with giving me satisfaction of sharing knowledge and hope about a bright and blue future.

Together with my Ocean Community colleagues we have established this program to spread awareness and knowledge about the ocean challenges and possibilities. The university students who are participating act as a bridge between their university and Ocean Community, sharing awareness and access to our programs while strengthening their blue CV and preparing themselves for a career within the blue economy.
