Are you passionate about ocean sustainability, innovation, and business development? Ready to apply your leadership skills to impactful projects? Ocean Community is seeking two motivated Project Manager interns to support our innovation and business development initiatives.

 

Who We Are: Ocean Community is a global non-profit organisation dedicated to connecting ocean lovers, fostering innovative solutions, and building a thriving coastal and blue economy. We’re committed to empowering individuals to take action for ocean sustainability by supporting early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs.

 

Why Intern with Us? As a Project Manager intern, you’ll lead exciting projects at the intersection of ocean conservation, innovation, and business development.

  • Drive Innovation: Manage the Ocean Community Challenge and other innovation initiatives that contribute to the development of scalable solutions for the blue sustainable economy.

  • Develop Business Acumen: Gain hands-on experience in business development, project management, and entrepreneurship within the ocean space.

  • Shape the Future: Help connect and mentor innovators and entrepreneurs as part of our Ocean Community Challenge, working to accelerate ocean-friendly startups.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of innovation projects that address ocean challenges and foster a sustainable blue economy.

  • Work closely with early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs, supporting them in business development, strategy, and implementation.

  • Participate in organizing online and in-person events and meetings, helping to connect a global network of ocean enthusiasts and change-makers.

The internship is unpaid but may qualify for Erasmus Internship funding. The preferred timeframe is from February 1 to July 1 2025, though we can offer flexibility to suit your availability
