Ocean 101
ESSENTIAL ocean knowledge
Ocean 101 is our online learning program designed to build essential ocean literacy for everyone.
It offers a growing collection of short, engaging courses with modules for anyone curious about the ocean and motivated to understand its importance.
Designed to spark curiosity and remove barriers to learning, Ocean 101 explains core ocean concepts in a clear, accessible, and engaging way. Learners explore how the ocean sustains life on Earth, why it matters to people and the planet, and how ocean knowledge connects to conservation, innovation, and the Blue Economy.
Ocean 101 is ideal for individuals, students, and professionals who want to gain basic knowledge and a foundation for ocean literacy - no prior knowledge required.

OC Academy
deep learning and professional development
The Ocean Academy offers an immersive deep-learning curriculum that combines ocean science with real-world, solutions-focused entrepreneurship. Participants gain both a scientific foundation and the business skills needed to transform marine challenges into sustainable, commercially viable opportunities within the blue economy.
The OC Academy is structured around two complementary tracks and courses:

Ocean Skills: Build a deep understanding of ocean science, the challenges facing the ocean, and the pathways to protect, restore, and sustainably manage marine systems.

Innovation Skills: Develop the innovation and entrepreneurship tools needed to design ocean-friendly, regenerative, and commercially viable solutions, bridging knowledge with real-world impact.

OC Campus
applied university level learning
OC Campus offers applied, university-level learning developed in collaboration with partner universities. Courses and modules are co-designed to integrate into specialized and cross-disciplinary curricula, including Master’s programs, while maintaining academic rigor and fostering ocean-focused innovation.
Who can join?
Our OC University Program is open to senior and master’s level university students, as well as early-stage founders and innovators. The only prerequisite is the ability to read and write and successfully pass the Basic Ocean Skills module.
