Located in the Portuguese coastal town of Peniche, Peniche Ocean Watch (POW) unites protagonists from all sectors and backgrounds under one roof and empowers them to pursue innovative solutions related to ocean and societal challenges. POW believes that digitalization and exponential technologies along with fundamental changes in the way we live and work create emerging new forms of value creation that offer hope for a brighter future. POW aspires to enable Peniche to become a hotspot for entrepreneurial activity, a flagship in ocean innovation, and a showcase on circular economy and regional development.

The Swedish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CLS) is a gateway and a facilitator to business, cultural and social development between Sweden and Portugal. OCEAN DATA FACTORY SWEDEN

The mission of Ocean Data Factory Sweden (ODF Sweden) is to enable data-driven innovation by both commercial and non-commercial actors to ensure that the ocean and its resources are managed in the best possible and most sustainable way. Through our partnership with ODF Sweden, we get access to ocean data and data science knowledge to support and advise the participants and jury of the challenge.

SmartOCEAN is an ecosystem where science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship are united to create a sea of new ideas, new solutions and new opportunities for a brighter future. Through our partnership with SmartOCEAN, we get access to top researchers and innovators with direct exposure to the challenges coastal communities are facing.

SUSTAINABLE OCEAN ALLIANCE

Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) is a nonprofit organization that develops leaders, cultivates ideas, and accelerates solutions in the field of ocean health and sustainability. In alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal Number 14, SOA addresses the greatest threats to the global ocean through their two programs: Ocean Leadership and Ocean Solution Accelerator.

SOA supports us with business mentoring and expertise in ocean innovation, in addition to being part of the investor panel.
